Small room. Strong opinions.

Cut is built by Martori, a Nashville studio making software for the hard, hopeful seasons of a life. We’re early, deliberate, and building the room we wished existed.

Who’s building it
B

Brian Martori

Founder

He’s lived the seasons this studio builds for. He started Cut because the distance between a great song and the right room is an access problem, not a talent one. He sets the product, the taste, and the standard: premium, calm, and on the writer’s side.

M

Martori Studio

The house it’s built in

Cut is one of several products from Martori, a studio with a single thesis: software should be most humane exactly when life is hardest. That thesis is why Cut is consent-first, why it never takes a cut, and why it doesn’t feel like every other tool in this business.

Advisors

In formation

We’re assembling a small bench of advisors across publishing, sync, and A&R, people who’ve placed real songs and know where the bodies are buried. If that’s you, we should talk.

How we work

Three rules we don’t bend.

The writer’s side, always

When a decision is close, we ask which way protects the person who wrote the song. That’s the tiebreaker, every time.

Small on purpose

We’d rather a room of a few hundred people who matter to each other than a marketplace of a million who don’t. Curation is the product.

Craft you can feel

The calm, the quiet, the way it moves. We sweat it because the people we build for are already carrying enough noise.

Open seats

We’re hiring the first ones in.

We’re in early conversations for a small founding team. If the room speaks to you, the door’s open.
